The way they used to make comics: Somebody makes the art, somebody else makes a story to fit it.
So it sounds a little weird, but let's bear in mind that some of the best comic book issues of their flagship titles (like Spider-Man) used the Method.
As for where did I got the term from? I think it was some History Channel documentary, can't remember right now.
