I never know what to name a portrait xD.She was modelled using Zbrush, hair in Zbrush and 3ds max (not very good at this yet

Thank you! Well, you can model the hair in Zbrush using fibermesh and export it to 3ds max as splines (or any other software that can work with splines I think) and use it to create the hair .Β To create a convincing hair first of all you need to be patient while doing it, you won't get it in a few clicks. It is important to look at references, observe how the haircut is done, how it flows, understand the shape, etc... so you will be able to make it look more realistic. While modeling is good to separate the hair in sections so it won't get too messy, and it is easy to get messy. There are some nice tutorials on it in youtube you should have a look so you'll have a better understanding
