Background: 'Nexu' is like many other clones, having been raised on Kamino for only one purpose, to fight. CC-7796 received the nickname of 'Nexu' shortly after his third Tour of Duty when, on the planet Boglar VII, a feral nexu got the drop on him and planted a swift blow to his face with it's claws, leaving nasty scars. CC-7796 pulled his DC-15 sidearm and shot the beast several times in the exposed belly, killing it. 'Nexu's original Jedi General, a male Shistavanen known as Master Wolvan was gunned down during the Outer Rim Sieges and was replaced by Aurora Sunskimmer, a female Amaran Jedi Knight. During the final hours of the Clone Wars, Nexu and Aurora fought back to back against impossible odds. When Order 66 came through from Chancellor Palpatine, he prepared his rifle to end his General's life but the bio-chip in his brain had taken damage from shrapnel earlier that month. As he thought the order over in his mind, he decided the Aurora couldn't be a traitor and going in rumors that Palpatine may be a dark sider, threw the holo-projector in the air and shot it. He ordered Aurora to run as several of his own men opened fire on the vulpine Jedi. While this was occurring, Nexu managed to kill his brothers and is now on the run, all the while tracking the fugitive Jedi Aurora Sunskimmer, wanting to fight by her side once more, but this time, against the Galactic Empire. Eventually Nexu found Aurora Sunskimmer in a death struggle with a Dark Side assassin sent by Darth Vader. Without thinking, Nexu killed the dark warrior and confronted his old General. Nexu and Aurora Sunskimmer fell in love and married a year later. The couple eventually found their way to the Rebel Alliance and they now command the 27th Outlander Defense Group based on Corellia.
