Description
The Red Devil was the first production run ARC-181 HEX-Wing to enter service for the Republic Navy near the end of the Clone Wars. The fighter was assigned to a male Devaronian pilot/captain named Jakos D'randt, who volunteered for Republic service during the war. Jakos' co-pilot was a clone of Jango Fett known as Pitchfork. The built-in astromech droid never received frequent memory wipes and as such, developed a sadistic personality when it came to dealing with enemy fighters and capital ships.
