Description I took it upon myself to make the Walker Class, which made, look even more like it was meant for TOS. Here is their version.Β Walker Class (TOS Era) by nichodo on DeviantArt

Also, I designated this type as a cruiser since the morons at CBS couldn't bother to come up with types for their ship classes.

*Update* Ok, so I still couldn't stand having the bridge on the underside and went with putting the bridge where it should have been all along, on top. I replaced the underside bridge with the classic sensor dome.

Well, if we’re also being fair, the dedication plaque on the original, i.e. TOS Enterprise designated it as being β€˜Starship Class’, and the simulator in Star Trek II TWOK designated the refit as being Enterprise Class; there’s a lot of nomenclature faux pas, f*** ups and ambiguities, some of which get resolved in Beta sources long before they are canonized in an Alpha source.

Besides, when the β€˜licensed work’ cited in Beta which is written by the people actually involved in the production (such as in the case of the Deep Space Nine Technical Manual, which in relation to this discussion does designate the Miranda Class as a Light Cruiser) one can generally feel safe taking it a bit closer to face value.
