Description
Here's the second set of sketches of menswear clothing inspired by the sport of fencing. The clothing line will only have 3 complete outfits and these are expanded ideas on the ones I chose in the previous assignment. There are also 3 random designs on the bottom left that don't belong in the concept, they're just among the other sketches. The designs on the right were the third ones I came up with and the set on the left were the fourth sketches I did. After sketching several on the right I just decided that I liked the first one the most and the same thing on the left, the first one I was most attracted to. Once I get projects more finished I'll upload my final illustrations of my 3 ensembles and the flats of the garments that belong to them. This class is for practicing comming up with and developing concepts and ideas, it's not one that I'll actually be making clothes in. However, some of these ideas I'd love to make if I had the time to do it...

they are very intriguing designs. I especially like the three in the top-left corner.
I really like how you designed it with style and function, especially for protecting the right side.
I'm not sure if these would be in high demand, but what about us lefties? We'd have to get a mirrored version, right?
Either way, I really like your designs! keep up the good work!

True. I was going off the belts along the side's, A lot of people think that the belts will girdle them in, but there is the thought that it might give them the packed in like A sausage look.

I know that These were never meant to be worn by the public in general but Wow to even think about wearing these you had better be in shape. I believe only the two pieces on the ends of the bottom row would even allow for A more portly wearer.

Indeed, but that is partly due to how they're drawn, with the slimmer figures.

I really like the third one from the right in the lower right corner. My first thought was if I'd put it in a high fantasy theme so would it be high elf clothes/armor (but that's just my own thought of it). I also like how it both look elegant and still fierce.

All of them look great. May I ask why the one second to the left on the bottom has devil horns?

Love the style of the last one in the lower right corner, looks a bit like a mix out of asian and medieval stuff!
All in all great scetches!!

Do you sometimes look over all your scetches again and decide to make one of those 'real'?

No, usually I just make sketches when I want to create a garment or accessory. But in this case it may surely happen.
