Alice sat on the table as Dr. F looked her over. The scratch on her cheek was still fresh from the fight. Apparently no one saw her lunge coming, her attitude changing from happy to vicious in a second. She didn't even remember how it started and what caused her to flip like that.
Dr. F stood back after the magic was applied. "There we go! All better and good as new!" He chimed.
Alice glared at him. To be honest, she found his voice a bit repelling with its always cheery tone. Though, before should could think another thing a voice echoed out from the hall.
"I'm not sure about this...."
Turning her head, Alice saw two grown wyngro walking past. The one had bandages over his eyes and was stumbling as the other one helped him.
"Come on, Azel! Just a few more steps!"
"Kido, I'm blind." Azel retorted back, feeling his way forward.
Suddenly, as quick as it had came on before, Alice's anger went away, replaced by a cheery smile. Without hesitation she bolted off the table and into the hall. "HEY!"
Azel sensed her before she even yelled, looking in her direction.
"Oh, hey there!" Kido said cheerfully. "What's your name?"
"Alice! I'm from the Nook!"
"Oh wow!"
"Would you want to be my parents?!"
This question came out of nowhere, stunning Kido a bit.
Alice noticed the shock. "That is if you want to...." She said in a soft voice. "I'd understand if you don't."
Though, to her surprise, Azel let out a small laugh before picking her up. "As long as you promise to help me out."
Her face lit up. "Yeah!"
"Good then come on. Let's go home."
