This is my part of an Art Trade with ~OrcaKing
He wanted me to draw him and I as mermaids, with him having a killer whale tale and me; a seashell bra.
Here they are again;
Normally, this kind of work costs money, i don't work this hard for just trades, but he caught me in a good mood and you know how much i love drawing mermaids. Non the less, i'm going to start accepting trades because it gives me practice and i get wonderful art by others too! I'm just waiting for OrcaKing's half.
This took me about.. (adding all days, subtracting distractions..) 2 hours total, i would estimate. I am very proud of it! I think the background is pretty considering that i hadn't used a single reference to create this piece of art.
I hope you guys like this! This is what to expect with commissions.

I love it! at long last, i am finally a merman! i can only imagine the pirates' faces when they discovered their catch of the day haha. the dead fish is a nice touch, along with the pointed ears and the detail of the ship's deck

A lovely drawing. They don't look too happy about what happened. Nice job with having the mermaid leaning on the merman. The colors look amazing. Wonderful work.
