So this is the 16th best Zelda game out of 19 for me. For those who might be wondering, I legitimately don't count Triforce Heroes. I put it just above Phantom Hourglass because it would hard to beat the worst.

This is also a game where I don't have positive or negative feelings for it. I played almost all of it a few days ago and I have no physical reaction to it other than the artstyle being really cute except for Link. He retains the same sprite from Four Swords, which in itself is just an attempt to put Wind Waker Link into pixelated form. I don't like it, but I still prefer it over Link to the Past's sprite,the DS Link's model, and Link Between World's model.

The stuff I can say about the artstyle alone is more than I can say for the majority of this game. The dungeons are okay. The overworld is okay. The sidequests are okay. Other than having cute sprite work, even the characters are just OKAY.

Vaati is the villian, and gets used in more games than this. His backstory? He likes evil. That's as much as I can gather from him.

This is a weird game for me. The oracle games are some of my favorites, and they were made by Capcom under the watch of Nintendo. After the oracles succeeded, they were given near-full control. The developers of my favorite 2D Zeldas games also resulted in the only game I can neither get mad at or glorify. It's harmless, but it's a harmless game in the Zelda franchise. Unless the stars align, this is the last mainline Zelda game with a 2D artstyle. In the case of Minish Cap, I hope those stars align.
