Description
I'm basically posting what I can afford to while I'm studying.Marii's game had an awkward stage of "Pixel-Perfect" backgrounds. Add in my old eye-bleeding colors and you end up with a pile that looks like this.
This is also before I really understood what this game would be all about. The very idea of that blue skeleton went against the entire game.
Anyways, here's a list of what's up there.
Top-left: Under a giant tree's roots. This was originally the "Tutorial." Horrible idea. I remembered that pretty much every Zelda game Link to the Past onward had a tutorial section that was downright boring or irritating after like the second time. Also, I wrote out the tree so I don't need it anymore.
Top-right: This is basically a test if I ever thought of remaking Zelda 1 the same way I made Marii. Below that is a brick wall that doesn't have a place at the moment.
Mid-Left: A green path where Marii originally spawns. Threw it out because I thought people would instantly call it "An Undertale ripoff".
To the right of that: A cotton plant. I liked the idea, but I thought some random jerk would call me out for insensitivity to early black America or something. When it comes to the internet, you can never tell. I just liked the idea of a cotton field.
From here on out, I can't give very good positioning. There's a few bushes, including a large-leafed small tree I still quite like. I have no use for the red desert or anything connected to it. The river seemed bland, and Marii doesn't have a bow or boomerang. She has bombs, but I won't make them look like that. That one rock was supposed to be a meteorite. The blue mountaintop was written out, and the two jet engines were ultimately worthless.
Other rejected stuff:
All in all, I don't care about these anymore. Here's some links to Marii's newer content that I still quite like:

To be honest, I really like these. And also, I realized that when you took these things out of the game (...Or something) it was mostly out of fear that you'd get backlash for it. Here's a tip: You'll get it anyways, (very rarely) people can find anything offensive, even the tiniest thing like having grass blades that don't look right. : p
Just find what you like and put it in there.

Look, even I think the Undertale thing was pretty on the nose. I wrote such a scene out of the game anyways because it was unnecessary. Everything else might come back is the situation calls for it.

Right, well I'm sure that whatever decision you make will steer the game along very nicely. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
