“Oh my goodness. I still can’t believe we’re here.” Barbara says, she places a hand over her heart, as if a child had just left her home to move out into the real world by himself.

“That idiot is all grown up.” Jason mumbles, turning his head once again to check the closed doors. “He’s got a nice girl and everything. Don’t know how he did it, she’s too good for him. It makes me want to punch him. How dare he have a normal life.”

Barbara rolls her eyes.

“Well, ______ isn’t exactly normal. She’s a green lantern. Heard she met Tim in Central City while he was visiting Wally.”

“Wonder how she looks like? She’ll be my new sister-in-law after all. I’m sure Bruce is looking forward to the prospect of having grankids.” Jason thinks aloud. He can imagine a Bruce being surrounded by children.

Barbara barks a laugh.

“They’ll all be monstrosities, running around the manor when they visit.” Jason scoffs. He cranes his neck up to see Tim adjusting his tie, as the priest mumbles comforting words to the nervous man. Dick, next to Tim, catches Jason’s gaze from across the room and gives him a small thumbs up.

“Why would Tim even choose him as the best man? I thought he wanted superboy to be the best man?”

Barbara shrugs, and then the music turns on.

Immediately they stand up along with the rest of the crowd, as the doors swing open, and Jason widens his eyes at the bride.

“Holy crap.”

The woman was stunningly beautiful. Just the image of her marrying Tim blew Jason’s mind.

“How the he-” He begins, but Barbara shushes him.

“We bring you this day t-” This priest begins, continuing on while Jason leans sidways towards Barbara.

“How did he even get a girl like her?!”

“Tim said it was hard. She wasn’t very interested in him at first, but when he took them on their first date she started to fall in love with him.” She whispers, “Don’t know what they did, but obviously it worked.”

“You may kiss the bride.”

“That’s my brother.” Tim groans, watching Jason walk up to the newly wedded couple at their after-party. His wife next to him gives a small smile, unlike Tim, and greets Jason warmly.

“Hello Jason. I’ve heard a lot about you.”

Jason turns to look at Tim, shock on his face.

“You talked about me?”

Tim opens his mouth, but then closes it. Not trusting what he was potential of saying.

“I’m touched!” Jason says dramatically.

“Don’t get too cocky Jason!”
