wasn't sure if i should ad this to traditional or to digital, since i sort of roughed them all together in photoshop. I found this file, and although it's mainly images of paintings already on my page, they are mostly larger images, so should show off more detail. my art seems to be more known now for the cartoony stuff, which i love doing, but i think a lot of people forget or might not even know that the bulk of my work was doing a lot more realism, anyway, here ya go if ya want a peek. these are some of the nicest friends and models i was lucky enough to work with. especially the one in the sailor suit, and not just because she's my girlfriend

the one with the book? no its not in my gallery, it was of a burlesque performer /model named sable sin cyr, very nice young lady. I lost most if not all my painting files when i moved, since all the paintings were sold, i can't retake any photos.

hmm...not a bad idea. it's low res so probably wouldnt print well. i'm going to be doing a few new paintings with my girlfriend, so i can always use those

thanks. I just haven't had the time lately. commissions for the cartoon stuff have taken up more time than i thought they would, and I've had to put the paintings aside. I plan to do a few more so i have something with me for shows, it's just a matter of making time to take photos for reference and finishing commissions so i have the time to paint them.

aaahh i see...i did think that you might end up simply not having time for that,i'd guess it takes more time than your cartoon-oriented stuff (im not saying its fast to do it either)
I really love your B/Ws though,really sexy but you manage to tease just enough with really clean and shapelly lines. How do you work your latex-y stuff though,is it all markers or is there some water color or pencils in the mix as well?

the toons take between 2 and 4 hours to do. depends on my mood. the paintings take about a week and a half to two weeks to finish. the initial drawing is what takes the longest because i draw in every detail and shade it as if it was going to just be a pencil drawing. once that's done , the paint part takes maybe 3 days.
the latex stuff is just markers. a lot of the paintings i did had some kind of latex boot in them. drew that so often that it wasn't very difficult to translate it to marker

good to know...Im starting my diploma in art school (video-game concept art to be precise) and i was sort of planning to try out markers,but your art really looks a lot like pure china inks sometimes,so i wasnt really sure
Anyway,keep these curvy girls flowing,cause its a wonderfully simplistic but gorgeous art you got there

wowy zowy, zippy dipity doo batman those are some hot chicks. i remember some of these from before but seeing them altogether is awesome. i think you should do a large poster with all of them together having lunch or something. or lounging by the pool. if i had money that is what i would commision
