Alright! I finally got this finished too! I planned on making a 3 part picture series for the CMC's going back to school. But all I had so far was the rough draft for the first picture done for a while. I was switching between this and my last comic for some time.I only wonder how long I'll be making the other 2 pictures to the series.
I was using some new tools this time around, and I have to say, I'm pleased with the results! I think this came out pretty good.
Just a quick fyi for you curious peepers, the background more or less is actually taken and redrawn from the school setting in the show. Everything left of the giant Horse Shoe was made up. This is my first piece with a complete background, so I did my best to make it in the style of the show.

I like their expressions and overall feeling from the picture is good, but I would say work on your perspective; the size of some things seems offΒ - like the back part of Sweeite Belle's body is small compared to the front, fence post on the left seems smaller than the other two; and some things in the background don't have a good vanishing point (I don't know if you are familiar with this concept, if not, find some tutorial on perspective, it's worth it). Also I would move the horizon lower to open some space at the top of the picture, but that's more subjective.
