I know how it looks, but I had the idea planned out since the beginning of August.
Regional Variations for AurinaSo, I had already planned for Aurina to have its own versions of a few existing Pokemon. And I'm so excited that Game Freak is actually introducing that same concept! The reason I bring this up is because the variations I have planned also have different typing, and I don't want people to think I got the idea from the new Pokemon reveals.
Here are a few of the Pokemon variations I have planned for Aurina:
Ducklett: -> Swanna:
Due to the lack of water in most of Aurina, these Pokemon took on a new type to survive.
Hoothoot: -> Noctowl:
Because of the lack of trees in Aurina, these Pokemon lost their ability to fly, and took to living in burrows.
Wooper: -> Quagsire:

The idea behind that was that Weezing is no longer toxic, and therefor no longer has a mutation, or what ever its second head is considered to be. I think anyone coming up with a non-toxic version of Weezing would think of a similar concept.

a) Seen the artwork made from that leak and made your own Koffing/Weezing Variations based off of it

Hmm. Did you ever make the concepts known prior to this? If so, that would lessen the credibility of the leak, because the leaker could have somehow found your concept and added it to their collection for the leak.

August 1 is when I posted the journal, and the pokejungle article was posted on August 24. It's possible someone got the idea just from the description, but I didn't post any concept art before uploading this.
