Description
I enjoyed the Grimer so much I decided to do the Muk too!
Like I mentioned in the Grimer section, I imagine Muk is an adaptive species.
Kantos Muk adapted to polluted areas and absorbed Toxic waste, slowly becoming a Poison-type.
Alolan Muk absorbed spilled crude oil.
Muk in its purest form is the 'Beach form' where its both a Ground and Water type. It moves through the soft wet sand and the shallow waters of the beaches coral reefs. Beach Muk never look the same as each carries a different reef on its back, often giving homes to small water Pokemon.
Volcanic Muk survives inside volcanos. They eat lava and tend to be very aggressive if disturbed.
These ice type Muk often the cause of avalanches and used their icy breath to make Blizzards.
Many Muk live in marshy swamps, occasionally dragging down boats that accidentally bump into their mossy bodies.
Hope you like them!

Pretty cool designs for these goo mons! lolΒ
Also reminds me of...pretty much every goo monster in Final Fantasy games and other types of JRPGs.

My only complaints are that
1.Volcanic form isn't Fire/Poison. I mean yes, it still has a quad weakness to Ground, but at least it won't have a quad weakness to Water as well. Don't need another Magcargo. (I don't have anything against Magcargo, and I like it's design...it's just that in all my experiences with it, I've only won a battle with it once, and even then it was to spam Protect and Substitute while one enemy fell to Toxic damage, then just explode on whatever came in next.) Back to the point, I can see it being a mixed sweeper with the option of Curse for longer battles or just slapping a Choice Scarf and watching it wreck foes. Abilities would probably be White Smoke and Flash Fire, with Shed Skin being the "hidden ability" (I think that's what it's called. I've only played up to Gen 4.)
2. Avalanche form isn't Ice/Poison. I mean it would be neutral to Fighting moves, have a resistance to Grass (I still don't get why Ice types don't resist Grass moves), and probably be tanky as hell while having amazing Attack and Sp. Attack stats, at the cost of speed. Would probably get Snow Warning and Frost Rush (or whatever it's called) as abilities, with it's hidden ability being Ice Body.
Swamp Form seems interesting...my guess is maybe stall/status spreader/double screener (Moves like Light Screen, Reflect, Leech Seed, Aromatherapy, basically a supporter mon). Of course it'll still be able to attack, but I can see it being geared more towards being a mon that focuses on support first, attack later. Maybe having Natural Cure (for support and tankiness) and Dry Skin, with Chlorophyll as a hidden ability to trick foes thinking they can be clever against Dry Skin.
Great ideas all in all. And it's nice to see someone come up with different forms for a pokemon like Muk, shows real creativity (unlike putting Pikachu through a copy machine every generation *glares at Pichu, Plusle, and Minun*)

It explains the possiibility of Grimer/Muk to use Flamethrower, Mud Slap and Bomb, Ice Punch, Giga Drain, Haze, Rain Dance and other unusual attacks.

With Muk, maybe it combines several toxins andΒ gassesΒ in its body that allow it to spew fire
