I really like 'Green lantern the animated series'. It's so interesting
And I like everything in it.Just wanted to draw Aya and Razer for so long... finally done it. I tried to do my best on this picture. I think it's pretty good, I was quite impressed when I saw how it actually looks finished - wasn't expecting this from myself.

I adore darker art like this for tragic characters such as these two... And the symbolism here...it's like they're in their most negative forms showing off their most frustrated states...towards each other. All the while...each one of them is DENYING something important, believing in a false mindset (Aya, believing that erasing all life in the universe will get rid of all pain, because pain is connected to living as well as feeling/acting upon emotions) or believing in a lie (Razer, with him saying she's not Aya anymore). It really shows their inner turmoil here perfectly. Awesome job!

I love the whole Lantern and the color spectrumΒ idea itself. I think the red Lanterns or the Indigo lanterns are my favorite, the reds because they are a never ending embodiment of rage and revenge, seeking justiceΒ and dishing it out where it is deserved, and the Indigos because they are the complete opposite, peaceful, secluded tribe unattached to the worries and dangers and sadness of the universe they live in. The idea of the lanterns is so fucking cool, and I get extremely agitated and ecstatic when Im able to talk about it. Its like adventure time is to me, or things like pizza and ice cream and donuts and cats and speculation and wandering about our existence and going into the woods and looking for treasure and playing RPGS and playing guitar and singing and listening to the world just go and watching leaves fall and watching the river run and finding a moth wing the other day and playing zugu(great game) and hanging out with my girlfriend, who is 75% of the reason I get up in the morning.
I apologize, I kind of went really really of tracka nd strated talking about things I really like.
I also like pancakes, falkor form never endting story, Dark crystal, Labryinth (David Bowie is my dad) rick and Morty, Beyond two souls, Red Dead Revolver (came before Red Dead Redemption, was for the ps2 if im not mistaken)

the tension in this pictures is really well caught. you can feel the awkwardness between this couple who has a desperate fate together ;_;
the only thing i find a bit disturbing is this fog-like at the bottom of the picture. without it it would have given you a better look on those two characters.

so expressive..!!! I love it. I like how you drew their faces so close together, almost at the point of kissing each other, but I share your sentiment that maybe this is not Aya anymore. But her emotions are still there...buried. I just really, really, really hope that they do get together at the finale...and that both survive
