I don't think that's why DC/WB kills programs.

They get some half-cocked idea about the next film and are afraid a cartoon series will confuse matters.

They put Ras Al-Ghul off limits for Bruce Timm despite the fact that the "2010 Near Apocalypse" that the character was involved was already being built up.

To my mind, that's just silly, but when I see how much piss-poor entertainment that comes out of WB these days I guess I should expect silly. The last (and perhaps only) "Green Lantern" live action film was rubbish. Just parroting the plot from GLTAS would have been a considerable improvement.

Well the ultimate reason is lack of faith which is ridiculous considering the following Gltas has, even from people like me who aren't american, viewing it on US TV stations and have to resort to other means.

But yes, I agree totally. I never saw the movie, imo bloated heads creep me out. My siblings watched it instead and came back with poor reviews so I didn't miss much.

I hope something can be done to redeem warner bros and DC things in future. Even Batman has plenty of decent spin offs in movies, comics and more so Green Lantern can too. There's no reason why they can't be as successful as Marvel is right now. They just need to fund the right people and take a risk on things once in a while.

The problem with these companies nowadays is they DON'T take risks on anything and just spew out whatever sequel will give them the most money, even if it's a load of hairy balls. If it has 2 in the title people will watch it and they know it. It sucks but a company is designed for max profit so that's what they're gonna do. :/
