Description This was one of my submissions to DigitalFlows 5th exhibition, Infinity . It was a manipulation of Sunrise on the Rocks using polar coordinates. Im not sure why I hadnt tried this earlier but it seemed obvious when I thought about it! The two ends lined up quite well with little cloning needed.
Hope you like!

Its easy dude, this is the answer I gave to the other people who asked:

You change the image size so the height matches the width, so it gets completely stretched... then you rotate the canvas 180° so its upside down... Then take the image and go filter > Distort > Polar Coordinates... Make sure you choose "Rectangular to Polar" - Thats all... really easy!
It works best if you use a spherical panoramic or atleast a 360° cylindrical panoramic... if you dont have one, you will need a shot with similar foreground and sky and something that the two ends look similar also... if that is the case... go filter > other > offset... and move the horizontal axis so the join is in the middle (make sure you have the "wrap around" option selected) and get going on making it as seamless as possible!

That was all copied from what I wrote to the first person... you may also want to check out [link] as its what I learned from and it has some good images to help along the way!

Hope that helps man!
