Description
Taken from Fern Hill in Queenstown which is in the south island of New Zealand.I took this last night after the storm had cleared... there was around 15cm of snow accumulated in around an hour. The clouds hung around for a while so I couldnt get any shots... until I noticed the clear skies before bed. I hopped in my car and drove up the road to one of my little spots to take this.
I thought it was a perfect opportunity to take my submission to the =PanoramaClub s competition Long Exposure Panoramas (my idea!)
Im happy to say that it won! No prizes just a feature with =PanoramaClub - Im just stoked on winning my first comp!
I also entered it into =MountainShots competition which I tied for first!
It is 8 photos over 2 levels, merged together using PTGui Pro.

Oh and by the way... its my 100th deviation!!

It is Queenstown, this was taken from the top of fern hill if you know Queenstown. Where did you study?

Ah I didn't make it down there. I studied in Wellington at Victoria University at Wellington. I did as much as I could between classes and such. Flew up to Auckland saw the All Blacks play at Eden Park. And then rented a car and drove to rotorua and then to Tarunga and then To taupo all the way back to Wellington. Was amazing!
