Taken from Fern Hill in Queenstown which is in the south island of New Zealand.

I took this last night after the storm had cleared... there was around 15cm of snow accumulated in around an hour. The clouds hung around for a while so I couldnt get any shots... until I noticed the clear skies before bed. I hopped in my car and drove up the road to one of my little spots to take this.

I thought it was a perfect opportunity to take my submission to the =PanoramaClub s competition Long Exposure Panoramas (my idea!)
Im happy to say that it won! No prizes just a feature with =PanoramaClub - Im just stoked on winning my first comp!

I also entered it into =MountainShots competition which I tied for first!

It is 8 photos over 2 levels, merged together using PTGui Pro.

Oh and by the way... its my 100th deviation!!
