This was one of the shots I got once we got back to Christchurch after our botched holiday. We were at a relatives house for a barbecue when I noticed the developing sky... so I got in the car and went to the local Taylors Mistake beach with some cool rock formations in mind and a LONG exposure!Well, I couldnt get onto the rocks, or anywhere near anything that good so as I turned around, I saw the beginnings of this... I walked over to this area with long grass and set up.

Man, incredible glow! Love how well the blues and oranges in the sky play off each other and how the composition leads you right into the folds of those hills. What a warm, welcoming grassland. Great shot.
