Description
A few years back I was hired by the publisher Little, Brown & Co. to re-illustrate a book from the 1950's called "The Enormous Egg." Here are the six possible cover designs I showed them for consideration.You can see which design the editors selected right here: [link]

I think 3 and 6 are my two favorites. 6 kind of has an air of mystique to it. A teaser of what's inside.

I honestly thought they would choose 4 because it shows the size difference between an egg and the enormous egg. But I like the 5 the more I look at it. I thnk they chose correctly.

it depends on what kind of story it is. If you want it mysterious i like 6.
