This tutorial is pretty useless. It doesn't teach you how to do anything on your own, it's simply copying someone else's drawing. Yes, you might learn how to draw one specific charater in one specific pose, but you still can't create your own original drawing.

No tutorial will ever help you one millionth of what experience does. Don't expect others to teach you how to draw, instead try observing and getting a better sense of how things work by yourself. If you can't even do that, you're not meant to be an artist and are hopeless in this ground, instead move on and be some scientist or businessman.

Excuse you? The amount of things you are simply assuming right now is ridiculous. I don't "expect" others to teach me how to draw, but looking at how other people do things can be quite helpful, however, this tutorial is not. Why would you think that I don't observe things and draw myself?Β Even going so far as to imply that I should quit drawing altogether.
I am past the level of this tutorial, I'm just stating my opinion. That does not give you the right to act like a total asshole.

Oh, for the love of. The creator of this tutorial has allowed comments so people can give their opinions, wouldn't it be a little silly if only positive comments were allowed? I am not bashing him or his tutorial, and so my opinion and comment are perfectly valid.

I do agree with you that it doesn't teach how to draw anything on your own - in fact I start to really dislike such "tutorials" that go like circle here, circle there, add details, done!Β
But to be fair, in this case he shows how to draw this specific thing (chibi L) and not chibis or poses in general. More like "what are the steps a pro takes to get there". It's informative and useful in case you really want to learn just this pose and character and be done with it. But luckily there are plenty of other good instructors out there that go more into detail.
