This is one of my favorite scenes from the first book in the series. It's Miki's first "big moment" in a way, the point at which her strength of character begins to show itself. By the fourth book (Winter) Miki has become a real force to be reckoned with!Related content

I think the power of the compassion that Miki's eyes convey is something that really makes you want to listen to her, she looks like she needs you to pay attention. This is something that can be hard to achieve but, just like normal, you find the perfect way.

miki looks really cute in this page. one thing ive noticed about these panels is that there are alot of blush lines. i cant resist putting blush lines in mine eather.

I actually really like the upper part of the page. Hiro is so scary. In the big close-up, you can feel the rage inside him.
I remember reading it and wondering how I would react if I was in Miki's shoes. I dont know if I would have had the courage to say what she said to him
