After months of neglect I'm finally finished with the Doctor Who and the Pyramids of Mars piece I had shoved in my sktech pad.This is officially the first portrait piece I've done in color with my Prismacolor markers. I had to get rid of poor Sarah Jane Smith because she just wasn't working out, I accedentally rendered her lip way too close to her nose *facedesk*
Anyways, after I finished coloring I took a pic with my digital camera and touched it up in Photoshop CS3 (thus the taking out of poor Sarah Jane...).
Hope it was worth the wait!

I'm watching some 4th Doctor episodes at random, and I was surprised at this episode's quality. I mean, it's no masterpiece or anything, but the segments pretty much just keep getting better. And man, The Satan Pit sure was based on it.

This is simply a beautiful piece. Sutekh in particular looks so striking to me. And the texture on his helmet and Tom's scarf is just fantastic. I also love the black surrounding Sutekh, and the white surrounding the Doctor-- good vs. evil. The villain vs. the hero. Awesome stuff!
