so i know a bunch of you have been waiting to see this coloured. well, here it is
i was able to get the Norse colouring god Espen to colour this picture. i enjoy the way it turned out.
i told Espen that he has what a call "juicy colours". i wish to learn how to color like this. maybe one day.
anyways, this is my take on the new look for the transformers that idw had created for their new ongoing comic.
the original designs were done by Don Figueroa, i just changed the faces on them. i still like the designs Don came up with, i just didn't want to draw the movie style face. been drawing movie style bots way too long now.
oh, i gotta say i really like hotrods new look. he's really freakin sweet.

Nice art you handled the designs well! I just gotta say when I see at the expression on Wheeljack it looks like he's saying "OH MY GOD BUMBLEBEE YOU STEPPED ON A PUPPY!!!!"

Amazing indeed. But I like the original Bumblebee which had no gun. It would fit his character really well: courageous to take on bigger foes with his small strength.

The cartoons often showed the minibots with guns but the toys didn't have it. The tchspecs describe the guns they have but I doubt Bumblebee officially had one.

if your going with the toys then yes, he didn't have one, but then again, the original toy doesn't isn't what the character looks like. he's got no face

True but the same can be said concerning his profile in the Marvel or DW universe booklets. The new face looks better. But I wonder if the Dreamwave considers Goldbug as the old Bumblebee? I think Megatron and Galvatron are different characters.
