Description
so this is my attempt at a commission style art on colored paper.it was different working on it, but for the most part i like the way it came out.
i blame j scott campbell for giving me the bug to draw on colored paper. the good thing about it is i save on marker color, which is really good since they cost a lot of monies.
i'll probably be doing more of these at some point, but this is the test page.

The colored paper is a nice touch btw, really makes this stand out.

that's pretty awesome...I never would have thought to use colored paper O.o When choosing the color paper, did you choose it specifically to match Soundwave's color? Because then the color would change depending on the TF you're drawing, right?

I love drawing on colored paper and so does D. Enough that he bothered to hunt down a sketch book filled with toned Canson paper. When I worked at Kinko's I used to make my own sketch books that way. :S

If you didnt use markers, then what medium did you use on this piece?

well it's colored paper, with some black ink. i then added a touch of copic marker to it to give a bit of shadow. then i used DecoColor opaque paint markers to get the white and highlighted colors.
basically i didn't do the normal white page with color added to it. so it saved on the amount of marker i used.
