hey allsaw this went up online, so i figured i'd show it off here without any of the text and logo's covering up the art
here is the new trade cover i did for vol 5 of MTMTE
i wanted to do something special for that vol, and i really didn't want IDW to use issue 17's cover over again. not that there would be anything wrong with that. i just felt the trade needed something a bit more special. also i wanted a bit more colourful image for the trade cover.
Josh Perez delivered that requested and more. i was blown away by this cover when i saw it. i don't think i could stop smiling when i saw it. i had the image open on my computer for a whole week just looking at it. thats how happy i was with what he did with this cover
it truly is one of my favourite covers i've done recently. i'm happy i can share it with you now and i had the time to do this cover as a thank you to the fans that support MTMTE.
i hope you enjoy vol 5 and what will come in the future

i didn't base it on any movie poster, but i'm sure there are elements of many movie style posters in this piece.

I'm loving this, particular adore the three characters on the lower tier. Really looking forward to seeing Getaway as a main character for a change, and I've always loved how Skids and Tailgate have been portrayed in this series.
