DEcombinate in min mode using: HeightMapIFS/SphereHeightMapIFS/CylinderHeightMapIFS/TorusIFS

Not strictly a 'pure' fractal - all dIFS - but it was the only way to get the outcome I was looking for.
Two layers in PS, so it's a manip too!

Continuing my attempts to fractally portray scenes from Iain M. Banks's 'Culture' novels,
this is an imagining of the ship 'Clear Air Turbulence' landing at the Vavatch 'Orbital';
an immense toroidal structure landscaped on its inner surface.
Taken from his superb novel 'Consider Phlebas'.
Rumour has it that a movie treatment is in preparation! Boy, would I love to work on that one!!
