So cool.  I love the idea of those "Ring Worlds."  So alien from anything we know yet somehow we thought of it.

What's your favorite Culture novel!? Mine is split between "Matter" "Player of Games" and "Excession".

Looks cool!  I've actually been debating whether or not to read Iain M. Banks for a while.  The one star reviews on Amazon were pretty harsh but if the book was good enough to inspire you to make something like this then there must be something that is really good about the series.

Thanks for commenting SC! I can't understand why Amazon would give any of Banks's work only one star?!
Thanks also for the group invite, but if you check out my current 3D fractal work, you'll see that my type of art is
probably unsuitable for your group.

Cheers Krigl. I put this up here not long after signing up with dA,
and didn't submit it to any groups - hence the lack of attention I guess.
The scale of 'The Algebraist' is mind-blowing isn't it?! Read it twice now,
and may even re-read it again soonish!

Thanks for ing Alastair.
Yeah, I'm a great fan of Iain M. Banks' stuff - think the scale he, and some others, work on has a definite influence on my work.
BTW thanks very much for voting on Luminarium!
