Fantastic image!!
What I wouldn't give for these params...I'm just starting out with M3D and try as I might, I just can't get my fractals this angular and clean.

Cheers Kevin - will note you the basic params...when I can find them!

I love that extrapolation of bloc positiesand negatives.

Where would we be without pos+neg-?!
Cheers!

Very realistic looking space- like a lab of some sort!

You're welcome I've been trying the Syrp3/recipx formulas but I'm seeing alot of graininess- is it the stepwidth-lim that fixes that??

MarkJayBee In reply to Capstoned [2011-02-11 20:19:38 +0000 UTC]
ReciprocalX does need a lot of care - and patience - to get acceptable results Joe. Setting the Stepwidth Limit to it's max of 0.01 and rendering large
generally does it.
But expect a looooooong wait for the render!
I'm seeing 10-20hrs at the moment!

I do not Mandelbulb images, but i can recognize a masterpiece
in any area of the fractal realm, whenever i see it!
The sensation of "real space" is terrific here! your render and lighting are so clean and sharp.....very impressive work, BRAVO!

Wow! Thank you so much Jean Luc, I'm rendered - almost - speechless by the
fulsomeness of your praise!
A 'Masterpiece' eh? Maybe, when fractals are properly recognised as a legitimate and
worthy artform!

Wow - so... that's... a fractal? Whatever it is, I love it!

Cheers Steve! Yeah, there's been some
interesting new formulas developed recently.
Only trouble is, there aren't enough hours
in a day to explore 'em properly!!..

WOW, That seems to be the printer I have been looking for to print my ol' GigPix Bulb [link]
Can it manage 200 x 200 meter prints?
Great clinical looking place you have found Mark.

Probably just about handle that J!
Think the 'clinical' lighting suits this type of form.
Cheers J!
