diffuse maps on normals option....

SolidSpace is very beautiful, delightfully
squarish, mysteriously technical, blue, and electronic.

The starscape is actually a same-size diffuse colour map, with
the 'on normals' option checked - this can give a very
similar effect to reflections.

Riminds me of stacked Extruded Aluminum moldings and edgeings, cool work man. Yeah, Difuse color maps on normals Rocks man, did you know there is a Formula Called Abox Map S fold that uses the Maps also, just found it last night
