Description
One of the most fantastic journeys ever undertaken was the voyage to and landing on the moon. The centerpiece of this print features an original painting of the Apollo Command & Service Module (CSM) in lunar orbit. Also featured is my original painting depicting the Apollo 11 Lunar Module landing on the moon for the first time as well as Apollo 10 re-entering Earth's atmosphere. The original art is complimented by photos of the Apollo program from NASA's archives. Additionally, every crew is represented including the crew of Apollo 1.I've had this compilation in one form or another kicking around the hard drive for a few years now. I finally decided to release it as a print.

Apollo...third Space program after Project Gemini. Began in tragedy with Apollo 1, but ended in triumph as man walked on the moon. Apollo 18 and Russian Soyuz 19 docked with each other and signified peace during the Apollo-Soyuz Test Project.
When you look back on history, you realize what bravery that both astronauts and cosmonauts had to reach the stars. Gagarin, Komarov, Grissom, White, Chaffee and the three cosmonauts of Soyuz 11, they died trying to reach the stars.
*salutes* Ad Astra Per Aspera.

Excellent! Growing up I watched all of the space coverage that I could. It is time we set a new goal for our space program! Did anybody say Mars?
