Description
This was painted as the program cover for a local production of the musical Jekyll and Hyde. You have to make up your own mind which is which! It's acryllic and emulsion on board.Related content

i love this piece! i like how you portrayed the Jekyll and Hyde concept through two faces or masks, like the two masks of drama, which have a similar concept...
not sure if this was intentional..but i like how their is a smoothness to the left face (i assume is Jekyll?) and the texture added to the right face...it definitely adds a great effect to the presentation...

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I did try to deliberately add some texture to the right face. The piece is in acrylic so it's quite nice to let the paint go a little thick in places. I'm really glad you like it! I am thinking of doing a version that includes their torsos at some point...

Thank you. Everything I do is by hand - I'm afraid I can't get to grips with photoshop! I'm old-fashioned

The choice was definitely a great one...and I definitely look forward to seeing a piece with the added torso's..that would look interesting seeing how its as good as it is now..
