Description
Here is an update on the Gymnast sculpture. I'll be roughing in the head soon to get the proportions right then removing it to work on it as a separate piece. This way it's much easier to access the whole head without having to become a contortionist.Related content

The girl in the back with the hair blowing in the wind, is that one of your previous works? I REALLY want to see it but I can't find it in your gallery.

Hello, I admire your work a lot. I would like to know their final art it is done through it burns her, it is going to foundry in bronze or it is done through chemical process..

This will be sent to a bronze foundry and cast in bronze.
A rubber mold will be made. Then wax copies will be cast, then ceramic molds
will be made of the wax copies and then cast in bronze.
bingo!!!!

Thank you for the answer, taste a lot of your work. I also Work with clay, I didn't still have the opportunity to melt in bronze, in the future perhaps.

My studio is very messy and cluttered at the moment but I did post some pics of it on Heidi Maiers Portrait sculpture forum back in July.
Here's the link... [link]
Scroll down the page about half way.

Looking at the pose is really making me appreciate the strength and control they must have to be in such a position. You can already see the strain on the arms and shoulders.
Incredible work!! It's been wonderful watching this progress!

Looking good. I would put a bit greater curvature in his upper body posture. Perhaps making the chest more protruding would do the job, as well as increasing the angle of the chest and the stomach muscles.

are you really sculpting this the way it is posed in the photo? It must be kind of hard to sculpt a body from the feet down (or up lol). Just getting the proportions right would be a nightmare, much less getting the muscles right when they are in this pose (gravity). Nice work, I am anxious to see it completed.

I was about to say that this large a piece must be very hard to work on unless you're double jointed!

eh, i'm in awe how realistically you render the muscles. What material are you using?

He said on the first piece in this set that he was using "J-Mac classic clay, an oil based clay." I would assume he's using the same thing here.
