Description
See! I HAVE been working on stuff! I MADE her! That's right! This isn't Victoria, or Sydney, no V3 or G2 base. I made her. No joints yet, no morphs, no poses, no hair either! But I got her made, and imported into Poser! There's a bit of adjustment left to do. I notice a few things with the different lights in poser that I didn't before. Kneecaps, and shins...And the giant calf muscles!

Working on fracturing her polygons at the moment. I got started adding bones too early. I've had to backtrack.

I'm working on the bones now! Which will make her movable!

Great start! Most modelers begin with much easier projects I imagine. Good news on the arm bones, I had not read that when I noted you.

Yep! I found a free polygon assembler. MakeHuman. But that's about all it does is make the outside. I managed to get that into Poser and start adding bones for the rigging. I still have no clue about how to accomplish the morph targets. It won't be long though, and I'll upload you a new character to try!

This is the deep part of the game. I'm pretty sure I'd lack the patience to do this kind of work. But I certainly do understand why the lil objects and morphs and so on cost money. Huge amount of learning and work involved.

Yes there's a rather steep learning curve. But I bet, once I get the hang of it... It would be easier, anyway! But it is rather time consuming. As you may have noticed, I'm not uploading much but simple stocks lately.

I noticed, but since I'm not always sure what "simple" means, I didn't worry. I knew you were busy at something.

Simple, as in takes a lot less time than assembling a scene, or composing a work.

I just gave her two arm bones and an elbow! God that sounds lame. But it's actually a real accomplishment. The boobs don't really work that well with her yet. I have to do some adjusting there. Dang! And that sounds almost perverted!

I'm slowly learning how to make and rig the character. The body morphs are completely new ground for me. I've only ever adjusted them. I've never actually made a character, or joints, or morphs. I made a crayon once. A Markola green crayon.

I think the trouble with the shins and knees came when I tried to fix the calf muscles.
