Description
Who's was this throne before that IAm given as an offering?
Where is he now who once sat there,
In reign supreme here in this land?
Is not this Hell eternal?
Power of the moment, then eternity without.
Is not one hell torture enough,
That two would not make worse?
Do I accept it knowing?
Fleeting respite in a moment gone.
Cannot be worse than none at all.

You got the whole emotion thing in this one leaking out the corners...

Ya! On second thought, in hell, what have you got to lose? At least it's a temporary reprieve. Do you take it? Knowing that it IS temporary, and yet is IS a reprieve from hell!

I wouldn't... But, that's just me.

Oh, I know that but I would not take it. Just my upbringing I guess.

Some would, some wouldn't. The idea was to answer the question of whether it's better to reign in hell, or serve in heaven. From that, it developed into the question of whether it's better to reign in hell or not have the reprieve to compare to. That question of which hell is worse, the one know, or the one you don't. Which ties in with many human fears, that of the unknown.

Stand not in fear of The Unknown.
Instead embrace that which is The Unknown.
For one day it will be all that you know,
And, in that day, you will become The Unknown.

Ah! Ahem!
Thou without fear approach thy end.
For living death is death itself.
And from the dead of spirit flee.
Upon that hour a moment hence,
Doth The Eternal rest.

I think I'll pass on that offer. The shadows are great in this.. I love how well her dress fits on her. her skin seems a little pink.. or something...not sure.. Is that the default? Oh..I love the look on her face too.. Hahaha.. but no thanks..not goin..nope..and she can't make me!

The pink is that flame light in the left. I did a couple of 180 spotlights. One for the wall and one for the scene. I think I made the mistake of coloring them a bit too strongly. She has one of the skin/makeup mats. How the heck do I get my eyelashes, and eyebrows to render? They never show up! I drew these in!

It's exactly the same as photomanipulation, with the one exception of using actual depth, instead of scale/position depth. You use figures, position them, clothe them, add a background, etc.
When you move the camera, you can see the different angles on the same stuff. I think you'd be a whiz with this. I freely admit, since you are SO much better at art than I, you'd make this look like scraps.
The vast majority of these items, clothes, and characters are free, with unrestricted use. I'm just now getting a glimpse of how to use my own textures to cover the items. I actually made a couple of items. It won't be long now before I buy the program to make the entire characters and props import/export. I think I remember $60.

I went to Ren Fest over the weekend. I'm also having real problems getting a rather simple image to render. So therefore: late on comments and nothing posted.

Happy/sorry to hear that. You'll be sorry to hear that the Vue trial version doesn't permit export or saves. However... Here are a couple of things to look for that might help. When you set your render options, check in the file types. There'll be the standard options of JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIFF most likely. If you're lucky, there will be a PSD option. Bryce does, so I figure a program that costs 10x as much is bound to.
No luck? Check in your file export section. If you can export to Bryce format, maybe. Maybe too much trouble... A copy of Bryce to do it, would cost $6 and an $8 DAZ Platinum Club membership.

Oh! Re: png/psd! Let me know what you find! All right, there's no way I'm affording Vue right now! I'm almost tempted, but it just isn't in the budget. Almost...Ha! I'm SO tempted! But that still doesn't make room for it in the budget.

I usually keep my debt:income ratio under 10%. I could probably afford it, but I'm not going to. It's how I can budget for a house on a carpenter's salary.

Thanky! My cat keeps my seat warm whenever I'm up.
I'm working next on giving the space more volume using the lights. Apparently there's a way. In Vue it's called volumetric lighting. I've yet to find anything similar in daz. The rendering of the shadows helps, but light always reflects off of dust in the air. So that's my next project.

Bookmark'opolio'd several of them! The caustics one looks VERY interesting too! I think that Glowing Ball could come in handy for something, I just don't know what yet. And the shadow dappling is an excellent idea! I must study now! Kisses!

Ok, your asking for advanced critiques.....
well, I could be wring, but her right arm looks a bit to short and thin, and the lighting on the side of her face from the fire could be a bit to strong.
But...I like it!

I think you're right. I could have stood to muscle her up a bit. I think the short arms is more of a pose thing. I did some fixing on them, probably not enough. I spent the most time on her face.
I had to add a light from that side, because without it, things were almost black. Maybe a bit too strong...
