Description
Upon the coffee curls that lay upon the shoulder thence.Upon the lips that kiss, a smile flies in and there,
Alights.

Thank you! I wish I felt more for this piece. Probably shouldn't have called it finished, but I got sick of it.

OH man ...this is the girl in "the offer "..isnt it?...SO all she was really offering was to study with her!?! ?... ......Women !
I vicariously enjoy your experimentation with the fracs in the frame ...I see where you were going...I'm not sure you got there completely ... I dont say it that way to be sarcastic...i say it that way to not appear boring..lol
and when i read the description..At first...i thought it said there were flies smiling in her mouth ......
THe feeling you were trying to evoke gets across
..

If you take The Offer into account the mouth flies isn't a stretch.
I'm trying, in some way, to make the frames artistic too. I'm not overly happy with them. If you have any big ideas, I'd be happy to hear something...
I might step back from the "emotional content". Back to humor a bit. Maybe adventure...

My favorite thing about this are her eyes.
Your poem here is... evocative of several emotions in my mind which tells me that you did good!
Good job!

I re-rendered four times because I didn't like her eyes, until I did. They kept seeming lifeless.
I kept trying to come up with more for the poem. Then I finally realized, it was finished. Funny, so small. There was the feeling inside left to be expressed, the feel of the scene, the, the. Nope... it actually said it all. That moment of walking into a room where a loved one is, and the look, the smile.

Really, with poems like that, short is better. I have always felt that way. The eyes are so... different. They just jump out at you.

They start out with no expression, straight forward. Then there are nearly 60 sliders for the different eye-related parts, from the size of the lacrymal tissue and epicanthic fold, past the eyelashes to the position of the outer eye corner. I have close to fifty eye colors to choose from...
I don't post my freaks, my experiments. Sometimes I feel like Dr. Frankenstein.

Wow, I never knew it was THAT complicated. I knew it had to be complex but that's more that I thought....

Body morphs, clothing morphs, hair, scenery, and you're off to Photoshop! After you give up on fixing minor details and render after render. Just fix it in Photoshop! Browse the 3D gallery, and you can see which ones take at least a little time, and which ones don't. Pose and post doesn't work for me.

I re-uploaded the file. Maybe it will work now. It seems to have gone smoothly this time. I notice that all of the deviations submitted last night are that way.

I love the skin. Maybe her face is a little to..um..fakish looking, but that could just be me. The lighting is awesome, and you did a wonderful job on her hair! Great job!

I tried this new skin texture. The makeup looked better, and all in DAZ. But it rendered this funny yellow/gray. I did a lot of adjusting on it, until I finally got a bit tired of it, and couldn't figure out anything else to do with it.

Why, thank you! I was going to try the new fog tool for the volumetric lighting. I need more practice before it looks good enough to include. I still get a fog plane, or a plume. I need to work on whispy-ness.

Ohh I like her dress! What is that she is reading?
Her neck seems a little too extended...kind of awkward looking. Other than that I think it looks great and I love her skin texture... definitely gotten away from that default look...and I want to know what she is reading.

Her dress is the Engelskirt. It's a set of textures that work with all of the MFD's except Stephanie's, apparently. The dress in The Offer is another one, and there's a white one much like this black!
The skin texture rendered WAY too yellow/gray. Called Su. I fooled around with this for a long time with replace color to get it to look half way decent. Looked really good in the pre-render.
She's reading Ancient Book. Free DAZ, ps_fr029.exe. Quite a few morphs, and removable parts! Opens and closes realistically too! The cover texture leaves a bit to be desired... Dragon diagram, and a map.

Ohhh..I have that book. I have everything free.. Hmm...well you did a good job replacing color with the skin.

I too have everything free... That has unrestricted use, doesn't just plain suck, works in DAZ...
I might be able to dig into the cr2 file and adjust the skin tone. It just looked so good in the pre-render. Might could adjust the ambient, or something.
