Description
Harrison Ford in graphite pencils.Paper ... Strathmore 300 series Bristol Velum surface A2 size
Pencils ... Faber Castell 900 series grades 4B, 5B, 7B and 2 Staedler Mars Lumograph 8Bs for the background and blacks throughout.
Blending ... Tissues for blending blocks of tone. Tortillons and detail paper stump for face texture.
Erasers ... Faber perfection pencil eraser for eye and hair highlights and blue tack (kneadable eraser) for lifting pencil back for flesh textures.
Time ... A week, i work all day every day for 8 to 10 hrs.
Finished drawing scanned in A4 parts and stitched using Corel Painter application and tones adjusted to match the drawing.
Last thing i do is add a little sharpening on the image to help show the pencil strokes a little clearer.

Hi Mark ,I think I got tired just reading what it took to create this masterpiece ,my head spins and then I look at my little art table and my little collection of equipment and think ,I should just leave it up to the experts...But We will see ..I have just done daniel day lewis but beside your harrison, no comparison,(little rhythm) but I am extending out, take a look and tell me what you see but please don't be to critical .I was Β a little fast in the finish ....still love your work you are the still Uno and best I have seen....ever...
