Followed your link and played with the map. That thing is a train trestle. Wow. Train trestles are (most definitely) not that "artistic" in Texas. Just boring old steel girders.,

In the 1800's we had a habit in this country of building things with excessive flair (and budget!) so we have alot of interesting structures such as this here, though steel girders have their own photogenic qualities

Thats a real shame, but it is possible to shoot outdoors all year round, it's trickier in some climates but there are always good photos to be had, though I do tend to spend most of my time in the studio form about now through until March...
