Hello, I read your tutorial for the Gulliver Plush and I have a question. Should I print the patterns on A4 or A3 Paper ? Sorry my english isn't the best. ^^

It's the first time where I visit an Anime Convention, it's in Bonn and I'm from Luxembourg, so it isn't too far away

Yup, I am and I visit some German conventions - not Animagic, however. I'll attend Connichi in Kassel and maybe the Frankfurt Book Fair.

I found fleece is Velour and felt is Filz, is this correct ?

Fleece = Fleece / Polarfleece / Antipilling-Fleece (das kann man günstig z.B. auf Stoffe.de kaufen, oder ich kann dir auch einen ebay-Händler empfehlen - es sei denn du hast einen guten Stoffladen in der Nähe)
Felt = Filz (gibts in jedem Bastelladen oder auch Stoffladen)
Velour würde ich nicht nehmen, aber ich kenne das Problem, da findet man die perfekte Stoffempfehlung auf Englisch und dann findet man nicht den richtigen deutschen Begriff.

Danke ^^ die Animagic war mega ^^ leider konnte ich das Anemone Kostüm nur einen Tag tragen, da es viel zu anstrengend war und meine Füsse mir super weh taten in diesen hohen Schuhen XD Es waren trotzdem 2 super Tage

Ein einfaches Stück Baumwolle tut es hier, weil man darauf am besten die Pupille aufzeichnen kann. Einfach einen Rest, den du herumliegen hast. Wenn du nichts hast, kannst du natürlich genausogut ein Stück Fleece oder Filz nehmen, dann musst du aber sehen, wie du sie Pupille aufmalen/aufsticken kannst - am besten mit Acrylfarben oder flüssiger Stoffmalfarbe, zur Not mit einem Edding.
Es sollte nur KEIN zu dicker Stoff sein (weißer Jeansstoff nur im Notfall), keiner, der noch leichter schmilzt als Fleece (Satin) oder ein stretchiger (altes T-Shirt).
Wenn du dir nicht sicher bist, welcher englische Name eines Materials welchem deutschen entspricht gibt es noch einen Trick: suche den Begriff in der englischen Wikipedia und klicke dann auf den deutschen Artikel, links unter "Languages". Kann vielleicht manchmal weiterhelfen

Guten Abend, habe heute mithilfe eines Freundes mit dem Nähen begonnen, leider musste ich mit den Stoffen improvisieren, da Ich im Laden in Luxemburg ein anderes weisses Stoff wählen musste weil es das andere leider nicht in weiss gab. Aber denke dieses tut es auch ^^ Hoffe habe nur beim Ausdruck kein Fehler gemacht da Ich das PDF direkt komplett ohne Vergrösserung auf A4 ausgedruckt habe und die Formen ausgeschnitten habe. Der Rumpf wirkt nähmlich nach dem aneinander nähen ziemlich klein ?

Also, der Rumpf sollte aus vier Teilen bestehen. Wenn das stimmt, sollte es passen. Man darf das Stopfen nicht unterschätzen, das wird schon ein ziemlich dicker Kerl.
Und das mit dem Ausdrucken hast du definitiv richtig gemacht. Das ist die Originalgröße meines Schnittmusters.

Ok habe ihn gestopft aber leider ist das Stoff ziemlich dünn und der Rumpf hat deshalb überall Hügel , leider gab es hier in Luxemburg nix besseres und im Internet bestellen ist immer so eine Sache nach Luxemburg wegen der Zeit (muss bis zum 27ten Juli fertig sein), aber denke das ist halb so wild, versuche die Füllwolle sehr klein zu rupfen um das Problem zu beheben

Ok. Du kannst das ganze Plüschtier auch ein bisschen drücken/massieren, damit sich alles gleichmäßig verteilt. Ich kenne das Problem leider auch, manchmal hilft es auch mit ordentlich Füllwatte zu stopfen, also eher mehr als weniger!

Das ist "Applikationsvlies", eine Art dünnes Kunststoffgewebe zwischen zwei Folien, das beim Bügeln schmilzt. Das gibt es auch auf Rollen als "Saumvlies" in verschiedenen Breiten - kann auch mal beim Nähen von anderen Sachen nützlich sein. Wenn du allerdings größere Sachen wie Augen applizieren willst, empfehle ich einfach das Applikationsvlies. Wenn du danach fragst wissen die im Laden schon, was du meinst.

Die benutzen zur Verstärkung nochmal normales Bügelflies, das ist vor allem bei großflächigen Applikationen gut, bei kleineren brauchst du das nicht unbedingt.
Und noch ein Hinweis: Beim Bügeln von Fleece und Filz immer gut aufpassen, das kann schnell schmelzen. Einfach mal vorher ausprobieren, bei welcher Einstellung das Applikationsvlies schmilzt und der Stoff nicht.

Hello, I'm following your gulliver tutorial a bit for making my own plush. For the cut out pieces, is it wise to leave a grace area? like make our cuts of fabric a bit larger the paper?

Yup, that's what I meant when I said "seam allowance" (if I put that in the tutorial at all 
So with my pattern you will draw the pieces on the fabric and cut them out leaving about 1 to 2 cm room.

For the tubing you could get a hula hoop or check out the garden hoses in a DIY store

I'm afraid a hola hoop would be too thin? Unless I put in some stuffing. A friend of mine suggested using a tube float used for kids swimming? T.T

That's a good idea, too. Or you could always go with a hoop or hose plus stuffing combination.
