I actually like 2/3 of this movie. It would have been good if it wasn't for The Angela Anaconda joke, the majority of late 90's song & The last 3rd of the movie.

True, the movie wasn't that great, but he stated in the review that Digimon was "a kid's show". There were things in Digimon that parents had to explain to their kids. One thing I know that I needed explained (and didn't understand until recently) was how the computer could have possibly crashed! (My own machine at the time was running Windows 98 perfectly.) There were subtle things that adults would get. The other thing that bugged me about this one was the fact that they tried to make sense of some of it. In the long run, Digimon, much like other anime, is a cartoon. There will ALWAYS be things that don't make sense. There are times when things are brought out to be worse than they really are. The other statement that was made that was rather unresearched was when Jesu Otaku stated that "the entire fanbase hated it [the movie]". This isn't true in the least.

I remember so many fond memories of the first two seasons, and I remember liking the movie back then. But looking back, I can see why the movie wasn't all that great.

The plot would only work if they cut the Minutes off and have less time talking and coulve made the story quite short and sweet.
its good getting the original cast from season 1 and 2 which is of course my favourite Digi destiny team, and yeah the plot as a million holes and the story makes no seance and
yeah the animation look brilliant at its time, The Director waisted on the marketing campaign on the toys and the Happy meals from KFC or other fast food happy meals. if your like them with your Google and youtube's you can find the Digimon archives and recount every Adventure that season 1 and 2 had.
