It was obvious that the scrawny nerd would get beaten by the fat black dude. I've never seen either version, but I would like to watch the Eddie Murphy version, since I'm a fan of Eddie Murphy and since it was directed by Tom Shadyac, director of some of my favorite comedies of all-time like Ace Ventura, Liar Liar and Bruce Almighty. Of course, all those movies starred Jim Carrey.
