I've seen the remake, and it's BORING as dead. Characters are boring, setting in dull and remained on Earth, the friend is switched to the screwed guy who just became the useless black guy just to be killed guy, the triple nipple gal just appeared once to show her triple (despite being a PG-13 film) and never appeared, the girlfriend and ex look too identical, the world biggest elavator from Britain to Japan is probably the world's smartest and dumbest thing on Earth, they never went to Mars, the hover car logic makes Doc Brown sue, the opening chase is as flashy as Pokemon's banned episode, and the house being built make This Old House facepalm, and the len flare is used though out the film (even in dark scenes). The only thing I liked in the remake are the robots, they looked bad-ass.
The original, with Nostalgia Critic and Sci-fi Guy said, I would go with.

patrick tartopolis, the stict judge of faceoff and director. well underowrld was good, but he coulda done better on recall, especially since he had a faceoff challenge for it! making an alien that probly wasn't in it! (didn't see the movie but felt it was gonna fail)
