OK, thanks.  I'm just asking because I'm about to head to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks in Utah next week
and I'll be doing some night shots of arches and rock formations with the stars and hopefully the Milky Way in the
background. I'll be using my new Canon 6D full-frame camera and new lenses, so I'm excited to see what I'll get.

Thanks buddy!!     I'll also paint the arches and rock formations
with light during my exposure.  We shall see how they turn out.

No problem...the best advice I can give is make sure you envision where you want the shadows to fall and be at least around 45 degree angle from the camera to create the depth needed for that dramatic effect
