Now this is more like it, I did this one in less than an hour, the colors still look good, it doesn't irritate me and my style still looks okay
I love traditional art! I don't particularly prefer it over digital art, but it does get me to work faster and more efficient for some reason. Digital art takes me forever.Anyway, some more ideas for the Sun Marsupilami! I took Pira's ideas and ran with them, I absolutely love the sunset color scheme. If I had to come up with some names then I'd like to give them some crazy ones;
1. Burnt Toast, like this
2. Bruised Banana, like this
3. Crème brûlée, like this
4. Flavlip, like this or this lmao
5. Autumn Leaves, like this
..I can't help it, the things I picked just looked exactly like their colors so I HAD to name them like that :')
I myself am leaning more towards either 1 or 4 because I love the combination of a dark color with yellow, even though the sun is of course supposed to be light. I do have similar plans for the Moon Marsu though, for example to make her the opposite of 4(or light upper body, dark lower body), but eh we'll see how that looks.

I like all of them they look so tasty (hah just kidding X'D), but srsly I like all of their designs
Even if 4 looks a bit weird (not to me tho) it is somehow possible //could be based on a Solar Eclipse and if both Marsu's have such a design well ..anyway it works (Or maybe it is possible to fit in a 3 Marsupilami that wasn't caught yb the hunters and will get imporatnt later on when they try to open up the temple :')) So we could use Design 3 on another Marsupilami beside the Sun and MOON-Marsu
I need to overwork my first Marsu-Designs (mainly the one with the blue accents X'D) And maybe adding some more designs aswell.
Maybe some designs for the third Marsu if it is possible to fit it somewhere inside the story...it would make everything way more interesting I guess
But that's just a rough concept X'D
And for the rest I guess that we just need Idk like a couple more designs, not to many designs tho..to be able to at least choose the design fr the Sun Marsu and then start designing the Sun-Marsus Pattern (although I have to admit that all of the designs look great with just the average spot pattern. Maybe some spots could form a Sun or something X'D)
Well I'm way to excited about everything and I can't describe how excited I am when it comes to desging the first Pages (I wonder if we will start with some kind of Prolog or something, something like shwoing the hunters and how they capture the Marsupilamis or something and then a switch to the circus

Agreed, I had the same idea of having more Marsu's being involved somehow! Maybe there could be even more Marsu's that represent the Sun and Moon, that there's a whole place full of them even, but that this is only discovered when going to the temple. Or.. so many other options really! On the other hand I of course also love the idea of only two being special, but it's just an idea to make the choice a little bit easier xD
I also really like the idea of a sun spot and moon spot, I might draw that out because it sounds cool as fuck.
OHh hell what if there is an eclipse Marsu, with the actual design of nr. 4, or two eclipse Marsu's, that seem to be the real treasure without any of the parties knowing it. Or maybe have some older Sun and Moon Marsu's play a role, that were captured by the army/circus long ago because they've tried it before and didn't succeed. Then of course the question would arise if the newest two WOULD be the right ones to open the temple, and if they don't, they'll end up just like all the old Sun and Moon Marsu's, forgotten in some dark basement. A horribly sad idea but it would rise some questions and conflicts.
..If I'm throwing in too much ideas that might actually make it to the story I'll hide this comment, or all the comments with too much spoilers, so don't worry about our brainstorming here
As for the comic, having the plot totally formed sounds like a better idea. Mostly I do begin with sketching the first few pages already, but in this case, if we want to give it a prologue, and show some hints for stuff that can come back later on, it'll be better if there's already a plot. I do agree on that prologue though, sounds like a good start!

Hmm yeah indeed having more Marsu would indeed make it easier to choose one of our designs, although it might take away he unique touch of the whole thing by throwing in too much things of a kind. A really hard decision, maybe we can use some of the other Patterns for IDk some ancient scribbles inside the Temple or for some old artifacts that are represented within a Museum where our Protagonist has to do a lot of researches X'D
Another possibility could be that both of our main Marsupilamis or at least one of them has Babies 
Yes it is I just remember on that while seeing some Episodes from "Mon Ami Marsupilami" and believe it or not the Marsu actually had a Sun-like Mark on the back of his head//or his back (so why not try out something similar aswell ?! 
Yeah okay I get your point, people love to have questions and conflicts and also some things they need to think about aso, maybe the military and or circus could indeed have captured a Eclipse Marsu each and tried to use them to open up the Temple, but they didn't realize that they needed the other Marsupilamis aswell to suceed and eventually gave up and use them as their main attraction (circus) and as their brainwashe slave (military) Oh Fuck.. That gives me an Idea (since I doodle Zantafio a lot lately one of the Eclipse Marsu could be his brainwahsed Partner,thanks to him being not sucessful on opening the temple
Nahhhh I guess you didn't spoiler too much we collect ideas and we will put them together later in a Note so noone except for us can read them (it seems okay hat everyone can read what we write here so they already got a sneak peek aso X'D
Yep I guess it is easier for both of us if we have something that we can reffer to. Of course we didn't have to do everything 100% as we might will write it down later, we should take some proper notes for each "scene" "Chapter" and Prolog, like the main elemnts that need to be there and for the rest we can use our imagination :')
So we already could discuss the Prolog so you can sketch it out already (if you wnat of course), the nice thing is that we didn't need to know what designs we will use by now, but could already start working on the actual comic

We could maybe use the designs in flashbacks or something? Like as to show what happened with earlier tries to open the temple with similar Marsu's. Then those designs won't have to be final and we can still use them since they can be Marsu's that have, for example, been bred by the army, and ended up turning out not being the right ones. Our actual final designs will be the 'right' ones.
Holyshit there really is one with a sun design?? That's exactly what I had in mind, a sun/moon marking on their back! How cool!
I considered that with the babies too yes! At first I thought the army and stuff would try to let the two Marsu's to get a baby, but I imagine it'd be hard since Marsu's aren't really known for their submissiveness and would actually refuse on purpose?? But if they already had a baby that could work.. What if their baby is that Eclipse Marsu you draw with Zantafio all the time?? I love those doodles by the way xD But what if that baby is being brought up and brainwashed to be Zantafio's, actually being nasty to the Sun and Moon Marsu's, being their enemy, and then very much later, turns out to be their son, and the actual one that can open the temple?
..Don't worry, I'm definitely saving these ideas, I took some screenshots xD And notes are handy too.
I can't wait to sketch out some first pages!

Hmm the flashback thing doesn't sound so bad, but instead of the bred thing we could try to go in the same direction (or something similar) from the last indiana Jones movie, like that those Marsu where part of an old forgotten culture that that the natives tried everything to protect them, since they are the keys to a "forgotten world" (Like there were a lot of Marsu with different designs who represent the Sun and the moon but only two of them are the Main ones that are needed to open up the ancient temple which leads to a bunch of treasures and knowledge aso :') ) To make it even more dramatic some evil guys, maybe the ancestors of our hunters could have discovered the native-ribe and extinct every single native aswell as every single Marsupilami except for those two who open up the temple. Maybe just maybe our Marsu's could be the last one of a forgotten kind and that they are actually over a 1000 years old aso.

It would actually make sense how Zantafio was able to train a Marsupilami,bc he influenced it when it was still freshly hatched Baby (like Hermoso treid the same ething in the Marsu Movie, but wasn't sucessful due to Marsu being able to rescue his Eggs
I gosh I have the feeling it gets better and better as more we go into details and such OMG
