Here, have a christmas/new year present from me
The original plan was to make an art summary of the year, like you all do around this time, but photoshop chose to be irritating again, so it wasn't possible. This drawing is made in november, by the way.
Yess, a sort of remake from my old realistic ideas of Marsupilami, look at it, [link] , [link] , [link] and [link]
Mweee they're so ugly X(
So this time I drew bigger, I colored them and i tried to be more 'natural'.
Those stupid eyes! I started with the blue one, and the other two came right after it, but I didn't notice I made them bigger every time XI uurg.. ah well I hope you don't mind.
Hmm that angry one came out better than I thought, actually, so I'm quite happy with the result!
And guess how I made that super cool realistic hand: YES! My own very hand! mwaha jeah it helped a lot and now it looks cooler, don't ya think? That foot is also made with the help of my hand, NOT my foot XD
And that black Marsu... I just drew him because I like him the most of the babies. And black Marsus are just cool.
Hmm, let's ask: what do you like better, blue, green, yellow, orange or brown eyes? It seems that they're going to use yellow or brown in the movie, but I think blue fits him better. And green for the black one, of course. Just what do you think? I'd like to know from you all!

okay you know i plan some marsupilami studies for my chracter and the movie marsupilami. i don't know where i can start i mean i know first i need a base but how i can handle it

eh well.. if I'd make a studie/reference I would just start drawing and give little comments on how the ears look or the nose and the differences with the movie version maybe. but you could first try to just copy it, overline an existing picture and try to handle the form and proportions

yes i will, but i have only one problem. i would show how a marsupilami live too, that means i would draw how the built their nest, but i had no references for this

and it took a long time before it looked this realistic, heh.. not to forget that my style has already changed :I
if you try to draw what you think how it should look, you certainly will draw them just as cool as you want ^.^

Hey there, merry christmas to ya! A lovely little page filled with goodies, well done!
Two things I think would make this even better:
1) ink it! The character will leap put of the page even more!
2) Try not to cut your characters in half with the edge of the page! Try and arrange them so they all fit snugly inside!

haha thanks a lot for your feedback, it's good to know what others think of my art ^.^ it doesn't matter to me if you're critical, I have a lot to learn, so it's only handy!
inking it is also a good option, but sometimes only color or pencil works too, I think. maybe here it's a bit too yellow, that's right.
and yeah, the cutting.. I was already struggling with it, but I didn't want to finish them because the most of the time the result gets less good then I want it. but I have to draw more total body pictures, I believe
oh and what do you think about the eye color? not of my drawing, but just in general of the animal. I'm very curious what other people think of it

Ooh they look so cool!
I think blue eyes look the best on a yellow marsu. The black one would look good with all the colours, I think.

and yes, the yellow ones should have blue eyes, that was my idea since I made Marsus
and the black one.. jeah.. maybe yellow, orange or blue suits him too
