Description
The Qugh-Class destroyer is a heavy escort and capital ship killer of the Klingon Fleet, often deployed in service of the most influential houses in their main battle fleets. Being highly specialized, these vessels are not designed to operate alone and rarely see use in long-range missions. Instead, they are sent in rapid strike forces assigned to take out specific targets swiftly and with overwhelming firepower.NOTE: This design is loosely based on the Qugh-type vessels as seen in Star Trek Discovery. I tried to reimagine the vessel in the style of FASA designs, or perhaps even the more simplistic TOS style. Most notably, I utilized some more traditional warp nacelles and added a D7-esque Bridge module in a rather unconventional spot on this configuration.

If you want, you can scale it by comparing the warp-nacelles to the T3 or D7 versions I did. It's comparatively small, but would be heavily armed for its size. maybe about 4 disruptors, a torpedo tube

That's why I like FASA designs so much. They tried some really unconventional things. But its also something I liked about Discovery. I'm not overly fond of the ornate Klingon ships in the show - but if you look at them in terms of hull-configuration, they actually have some interesting takes on classic klingon aesthetic.
