Bereavement Unit Concept for my graphic novel One Last Chance. This isn't how it will look finally, its just a concept. We'll see!All comments welcome and appreciated. Approx 50 mins - i havent drawn in 2 weeks! So im a little rusty, hehe

If female, needs a bigger waist line.
If male, needs 'slightly bigger abdomen.
If android, no mods needed.
In either case, I think you need to revisit the boots. They don't look like they could support the greater body parts ontop.
May I suggest to make them bigger, but keep the 'limbs' open or 'light' interrelated. In all cases keep the sleekness too.
I know, I know, super-hero form where they have gigantic torso with small waistlines and legs.

and yeah ... i know for functionality's purpose the legs would need to be bigger. But i think that sci-fi design nowadays is way too hindered by making things practical and functional. Every time i ever see a soldier concept in a new game, i swear i cant tell the difference between that one and the last one i saw.
So i'm willing to sacrifice a little sense in order to try and bring back some style

Seems to be my problem when I work on mechanical models--battling between style over practicality. My inner artist is telling me to make the design more attractive, while my inner engineer is telling me to make the design more functional. At the end, my mechanical art always looks like a bad batch of conflicting ideas all mixed together.
I like the design you made. It appears very retro for some reason--probably the colors and shape. Keep up the great work!
