So which one is it? The one on the far left, or the gentleman on the far right?

Uff, jeez none of these. I meant like the way in which the young child was sitting between a group of older men. THIS is what I mean by cute

his eyes reflect so much of how children are no longer children.

Aww...Stef.
I had the good fortune of being able to spend some time chatting with them, and trust me, my friend, that is one gem of a child.
His Dad's done a really great job!

ps
i hope you understand that i do not question his character.
my nephew -one of them-is a serious child. a thinker. there is not to be found lightness in his eyes.
the other one--is all sparkles.
i just wish there was more sparkles and less intensity.
intensity--perception comes in time.
at least the first few years would be nice with more trust--ease and whim.
it is said a photo does not tell the whole truth.
this perhaps is a good example.

I perfectly understood you the first time.
Photos, especially Street related ones, do tend to mislead.

And the reason Brandon had such an intense look in his eyes was probably because of the sun.
It was terribly bright that day, and the light reflecting off the sand wasn't helping much either.

ya know...its difficult to judge by a photo.
maybe i am misreading his eyes.

I think he wasn't too happy to see a creepy, long haired, Pakistani photographer taking up his personal space.

Yeah, he's a cute kid.
There's another picture of him that I had taken before I shot this.
I was just too tired to upload it.

His name is Brandon, and the guy with the NY hat is his Dad, Jonathan.

That was my first choice for the title as well!
But DeviantART doesn't allow for adding question marks in titles, unfortunately.

My original title was going to be, Dad, who's that crazy looking guy?
